I made a chili bacon cheeseburger with jalapenos and Southwestern ranch sauce (they're under there somewhere)! So what was on your table tonight?

Dude it was amazing, especially compared to the Clif bars and microwave pasta I normally eat during the school week.

Ramen FTW. Was it just plain ramen or did you add anything to it? I like to put egg and cheese in mine, and maybe some hamburger if I have any leftover.

Not sure what they're called in English, but in Brazil they are known as "empadinhas", and these are made at home by a friend of my mother's.

Man, you reminded me of all those awesome COTD foods you post. I'm seriously moving to Texas once I graduate. Su comida es mas mejor que la comida tenemos en Indiana, y estoy muy celoso.

Sound delicious! Seem easy to make as well, maybe I've got another recipe to add to my (admittedly pathetic) collection.

What's on the pasta? It looks delicious. And thank you, I do my best!

The whole thing is a Korean dish called Jajangmyun
It is delicious! Especially when you can find a good Korean-Chinese restaurant.

I just googled what that was and now I'm hungry again haha. Quit hogging all the awesome Mexican food and send some up north to your less fortunate friends!

Chipotle Mozzarella sausages with sour cream, red onion, jalapenos, and some colby jack on top. i dug them.

Sadly we don't have many of those here in Indiana. I'd love to try more Eastern food, but the closest thing we have is Panda Express haha.

Heh, dinner.... Now that's something I haven't seen in a while.

Fattoush with grilled chicken from a fantastic little cafe near me. Comes with some kind of biscuit that is made from gods personal flour. No idea what the biscuits are called or what's in them, but they taste amazing. The salad and chicken weren't bad either

Click that little feller down there for the brand. Found them at the grocery store...they make a good uncured hot dog too. Part of my Indy tradition when I'm there in May, my lunch every day at IMS is an Indy Dog with ketchup, mustard, onion, relish, 3 jalapeno slices and a blue powerade. Yes, I'm in my late 20s and eat that every single day I'm at the track.

Ooh lord, is that Jjajangmyeon? I'm tempted to make some, if it weren't for the copious amounts of oil needed I saw in recipes...

Another Indy-area Opponaut, or in the Great Lakes Area? I go to the 500 every year too, though we always pack our own food because it's kinda expensive all things considered. Well, that and because my uncle and all his drunk friends are too hammered to walk to any of the concession stands haha. And thanks for the link, they have some great-sounding recipes I'm totally going to make next time I'm at the store.

Sort of. Was in Illinois until 5 months ago, moved to NC. Last year I was at the track something like 8 or 9 times prior to raceday, just sent my Bronze Badge paperwork/check off today. Should be figuring out my travel arrangements to be back this year, thinking I'll be at the track from the first Thursday prior to the road course race, until the 2nd or 3rd practice day of the 500, then back in town for Carb Day.
All of the fun project vehicles are up in Fort Wayne, which does me exactly no good 10 hours away.

1) I fucking LOVE chorizo and eggs! My mom is mexican and makes it for me when I come home for christmas. We also do old-style frijoles and spanish rice for sides. I make it for girlfriends in the mornings to convince them I have the soul of a "fiery latin lover"......it kinda works sometimes :P
2) I made dinner for a girl tonight (it wasn't chorizo and eggs).......I ended up eating something else you would approve of ;) best part - we cleaned up and she headed out a little while ago....So I've still got a whole mess of dinner to eat and beer to drink :D

The fun project cars are something I noticed as well when car shopping. I found like six Fox bodies instead of the two that Indy had, and it seems like when we drive up north to our lakehouse every summer that everyone up there has a project car or bike or something in their garage out on their lawn. It makes me jealous.

Ours are currently spread across no fewer than 3 counties, 2 are at one place (3 if you count the 50s era flatbed trailer that needs restored too), 1 at another, 7 at another, plus 3 at the house. And I can't work on them at all without a 20 hour roundtrip.

lol awesome. It worked for me all during college, these american girls (especially from the east or NE little blondes) love that sorta thing. If you can dance cumbias, salsa, and bachata's, they'll pretty much undress for you in a quick second. I was never a player or anything... but that was my only ace up my sleeve. Ahuevo carnal :]
